A Message from James re: NEW ONLINE CCP's!!

I am excited to announce that we are now offering online OPT CCP modules.
The 2 courses that I instruct personally that I love doing; 1. Physical Assessment and 2. Program Design will now be offered online. In early January I spent weeks filming and filming and filming these courses. I never realized the energy and effort that I have put into these teachings over time.
It also made me realize that with the small changes that have occurred over time in the modules and the layout of what is contained in the course, that I am proud to offer these online.
I believe the pieces within the Assessment - anthropometrics, levels of physical testing, movement analysis and work capacity testing allow the coach to have a super start to clients on the road to increased fitness
I think that the pieces within the Program Design - weight training protocols (reps/sets/rest/tempo), energy systems training, prioritizing, planning and periodizing as well as philosophy segments on training is superior to most design programs in covering a broad spectrum of what is entailed in starting, balanced and high level fitness.

Of course teaching the courses in-person is a treat for me. I love the attitudes, the questions, the T-shirts, the conversations, the friendships made, etc...and will continue to do this as I love it; BUT, I am doing the system and the overall community a disservice if I choose not to expand this to the folks that cannot travel to AZ to do a module. I struggled personally with this for years but have realized that I LOVE COACHING, so therefore, why would I want to give up that to others to pass on, when I can still do it myself the way I want to do it..... just through another medium. There are of course philosophical items to be discussed that the forums and support on the CCP site will have.
We also have an FAQ section on our CCP page to go over some questions folks might have as well as some sneak peaks on what this will look like over the next few weeks to come, so stay tuned!
In addition to the 2 online modules, I have also released the online OPT Experience course which was designed to suit all levels of experience within the fitness community. The goal of the course is to give some direct takeaways for coaches, athletes, and general fitness enthusiasts while also giving a lower cost option to learn more about what we do at OPT. The course gives a glimpse at all aspects of the OPT CCP program and explains how and why we teach what we teach.
