Legs very sore from pistols. Worked up to 90kg snatches before hand and was very dizzy after each lift. Tried the workout a little earlier than norm and didn't eat, I think I need tweak a few things. I didn't had 'It' this morning and kept reminding myself during the workout but it turned out alright. Unit, I've been laughing about that early morning incident in my garage. Then you had to mention it 2 minutes before go time. The look on our faces as were wiping the sleep from our eyes was priceless!

The last time I worked on my power snatch 95#s seemed impossible. I got it up once, but it was very difficult. I got it up 18 times today and it felt great! Thanks for the great programming Coach! Looking forward to getting stronger.

Can't believe I used 83....never done more than 65 in a snatch wod! They actually weren't bad though,and I actually power snatched 93 a few times(never done that before) before was just afraid they would have gotten ugly and muscly very quickly! Struggled with C2B as usual but they have gotten tons better than last time this year, and made sure chest really touched every rep! Wallballs weren't bad they let me make up some time!

adrenal recovery plan seems to be working. In addition to limiting the wods I've been taking adaptogens; Eleutherococcus senticosus, tulsi tea, and phosphatidylserine. sleep is better, and energy more consistent throughout the day. beginning to realize just how poorly i had been feeling.

I wish I had some good reasons for being so slow but I don't. The snatches were actually the best part. The CTBs were a wreck and the wall balls weren't any better.

My 1RM power snatch is 85 so I worked at 75 today and it was really challenging. The CTB were very tough, singles in the last round.

Was done with two rounds in about 4 minutes, several snatch failures...spent 3+ minutes on that 3rd round of snatches.
Disappointing as I am confident I should have been around 7 minutes. I think a big part of it was mental, and a small part was due to a lot of missed workouts over the last 3 weeks due to some injuries.

Asterisk on this one. Pullup bar bolts came loose on my second round and the bar started rotating. Tried to continue but wasn't happening. Buddy stopped the clock while we tightened the bolts, then picked back up. Probably gave me an extra 60-70 secs rest at least, so that time isn't legit at all. Will plan on redoing it this week, think I'll be around 8 mins.

My HSPU's SUCK but did 50 today in 11:24....new PR by over a minute. After 25, I deteriorate quickly to painful singles....not sure why this movement is so difficult for me...by far my single most difficult xfit movement but I'm making progress.

Had to go to an Autism Fundraiser even the night prior and didn't get in until 2am so had no rest what so ever but thats still no excuse for the slow time. Plan on getting at it hard this week and staying focused.
had someone's bachelor party this weekend so I did it today (sunday) after driving two hours and finding some cookies throughout the weekend at the party.

Hi! I'm new to this site and have loved(kinda hated....but in a good way) the workouts!
I cannot for the life of me get better at snatches...any tips? I can OHS well over BW, and clean BW, but my snatch maxes out at 85. And with that form is awful.
