My Athletic Life - Tim Huntley and I had a chat about our own run stories, here are some of my thoughts on the 400/800 piece
1:40.9! wow.
congrats to Symmonds as well; was modelling my run training after this cat last year based on his height and weight and "style" in his power runs, a PB is a PB.

Pt 1, 1:15, 1:15, 1:14, 1:13, 1:12, 1:15--felt really good at 530 this morning, don't feel quite as good after seeing this guy do 35 sec fast for an 800 Ha!
Wow, 1:40 is crazy, my PB was a 2:23 back when I was young and in high school ha.

C. 3:15, was at 1:40 after first 5 sets, goal was to keep same pace for next 5 sets.
Not sure if my schedule today will allow time for 2 parts so wanted to get the lifting in and am hoping I can squeeze in the swimming at some point later today.
Flight is booked for OPTathlon 3.0 just need to get registered! Hope some you lady SHE dawgs will be making the trip as well! I can't wait!

Not sure of score from regionals, but I remember crashing hard after round 1. I believe it was 12+min, so happy with this outcome. Better game plan helped. Raining out, so runs are cancelled for now. Maybe later if it clears up.

i think those 40 ub wall balls a couple weeks ago took away all of wall balls' power over me. i didn't feel dread going into them and wasn't thinking terrible thoughts while doing them. practiced double unders during warm-up. i connected three... p.r. and i thought the farmer carry weight was a typo. 53# is no joke!
